    • For tools, all you need is a hex editor. Other than that you need to read quite a bit about 3D Graphics.

  1. Excellent insight….really appreciate your logically unbiased views on the game….. the asset and texture breakdown will really help my dissertation on proc gen…thank you….any info on the planets?

    • Oh wow, I’m glad this post was helpful to you man 🙂 Well planets are generated algorithmically so I have absolutely no idea how they do it. Well I do have ideas how they do it but I can’t be 100% sure 😛 For sure there are no assets involved in planet generation.
